This lid is a genuine Black & Decker replacement part. It is compatible with several models of blenders. This part prevents food from splattering outside the jar while being processed. The manufacturer instructs the user NOT to operate the machine without this part. It should be replaced if it is lost or damaged. This part is made of plastic and is dishwasher safe when placed on the top rack. Please note the lid cap (available as part 081069FI) is not included.
