This door lock and switch assembly is an authentic OEM replacement part for your front load washing machine. The lock is used to prevent the door from opening while the machine is running, and the switch indicates that the door is closed, allowing the washer to begin its wash cycle. Attempting to open the washer door while it is still locked can cause damage to these parts. If your washer door will not open, close, or lock, you may need to replace the lock and switch. Please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your washer before beginning this repair.

Door Switch - 3 Wire This switch is for a dryer door with a drum light.

Start Switch This start switch is a manufacturer-approved replacement part for your dryer. A faulty start switch means your dryer will not begin its drying cycle. In order to complete this repair, you will need a Phillips screwdriver. Once you access the switch, disconnect the two wire leads and attach them to the new switch. Make sure to disconnect power to the unit before beginning this repair, and wear work gloves.
