Fix Number FIX1528542
Manufacturer Part Number 316490000If your oven has little to no heat, is not heating evenly, or is reaching too high a temperature, there may be a problem with your oven probe. This probe, also known as an oven temperature sensor or a range probe, is found in the cavity of the oven and is used to detect the temperature within there. The probe helps the oven to maintain the desired temperature by communicating with the motherboard in the oven. You can use a multimeter to test if the probe is faulty, and if so, the probe should be replaced. Please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your range before beginning this repair, as you will be working with electrical components. The tools required to complete this repair are a quarter-inch nut driver and a pair of needle nose pliers.
