This part is located underneath the microwave and is designed to trap grease, preventing it from making its way into the vent. This part can become overly clogged or damaged over time. To remove your old grease filter, use the filters tab to slide it over and then pull it down and out. Insert your new filter into the back of the frame slot and then press upward to secure it into place. Keep in mind that some microwaves only require one filter, but some require two.
