If you notice that your dryer is taking too long to dry or is make unusually loud noises, it may be time to replace the blower wheel. This genuine OEM replacement part comes with a metallic clamp that holds the wheel in place. This part attaches to the drive motor shaft and can be accessed by removing the front panel of the dryer. The blower wheel, which is usually plastic, may wear out over time. But if it's noisy, it may simply be clogged with lint. Clean the blower and test to see if the dryer is still noisy. If it is, you probably need to replace it.
