If the burner element on your range is damaged or no longer heating up, the element should be replaced. When you remove the element, check the terminals for any signs of corrosion or arcing. If you find these, you will also need to replace the terminal block (which can be purchased separately). Replacing this part is easy and does not require any tools. Please ensure that the burner is turned off and cool to the touch before beginning the repair. Lift up and pull out the old element, then line up the new one and insert into the terminal block. This is a genuine OEM part that measures 8 inches in diameter, has four turns, 220 volts, and looped terminal ends.

This is a genuine OEM 6-inch burner element for your electric range or cooktop. If the element is no longer heating up, it may be time for a replacement.
