It is an authentic manufacturer-sourced component which is specially designed for Milwaukee angle grinders. The purpose of this gearcase is to house the gears that help to drive the spindle. If the original item is damaged or is missing, this will provide an identical replacement. This gearcase is made of high-quality metal and is sold as an individual item. Check the diagrams for your model to ensure the correct replacement procedure. A wrench set will be needed to perform this repair.

Ordered gearcase. Did not come with bearing or stop button to remove disk. Holes to reapply large gear assembly not threaded.
