This replacement carbon brush set is specially made for Metabo angle grinders and polishers. These are genuine high quality items that are sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer. Brushes are responsible for transferring power to the motor's spinning armature. The brushes, which are made of carbon, will eventually begin to wear down requiring replacement. This set includes (2) carbon brushes with lead wires attached. Please note, the brush holders are sold separately. You would need a screwdriver and pliers to complete this job. • First make sure the tool is unplugged • Remove the housing • Remove the old brush • Install the new brush • Reassemble and test your tool
