Product Description

This is an authentic DeWalt replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with angle grinders. The field is one of the major parts of the motor. The inside of the field contains magnets that create an electromagnetic field that is used to rotate the armature. Fields are not easily damaged but the magnets can be broken off if the tool is dropped or otherwise banged up. This field is available as an individual replacement part.
