My AC unit is blowing warm air. Electrical power is there. Fins are not dusty of clogged. No fuses are blown. Copper lines are warm to the touch when AC is running. The unit was install just over 1 year ago,new. Any advise or solutions would be valuable info. Thank you

Hello Gabriel, thank you for reaching out to us. The warm copper lines should be cold and sweating with condensation during normal operation. Warm lines on both sides indicate refrigerant cycle is not happening. Start by going outside while the unit is running and listen carefully. You should hear the fan motor plus a distinct deeper mechanical hum from the compressor. If you only hear the fan and no compressor hum, the compressor is not running. A failed run capacitor, part number FIX18242345, is the most common reason for this. Also, check the contactor, part number FIX18245619. If these parts fails, the compressor will not start and the unit will blow cold air. You can test both of these using a multimeter. If you can hear the compressor running but the suction line is still warm, the system has likely lost its refrigerant charge. We hope this information helps!
