Our washer is throwing an F9E1 error code...how do I go about diagnosing that?
For model number WTW5100HW0

Hi Caleb, thank you for reaching out. The F9E1 error code on your washer points towards a problem with your washing machine's drainage system. To troubleshoot it, reset the appliance by unplugging it for a minute and then plugging it back in. Check and clear any blockages in the drain hose and the drain pump filter. If the issue persists, replace the drain pump, part number FIX12731177. We hope this solves your problem!

Noise, grinding sounds. Wash tub stopped turning but motor and cycles kept functioning. Process of elimination, must be the clutch assembly.
Easy, just followed the repair video. Recommend also ordering the drive belt. Bought one locally during my repair.

Tab on door strike got broken off and washer would not operate without it.
Pushed in on door strike and rotated it counterclockwise, removed broken strike and installed new strike. NOTE: when removing the old strike (turning counterclockwise) it felt like it might break and/or was attached with an screw that I didn't see but it came right out.
