What is the actuator
For model number WTW5640XW2

Hi Larry, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, the shift actuator, part number FIX11747977, changes the transmission from agitation to spin mode. Actuator shifts the splutch and monitors the position of the splutch. Glad to be of assistance!

What does code 88 mean
For model number WTW5640XW2

Hello Larry, Thank you for your inquiry. Code 88 is a generic code, meaning no error code was found or stored after running the service diagnostic. You can try hitting the start/cancel button to clear it, but if it does not clear, then one of your control boards may be failing. If there is a particular symptom you are getting, then we can assist with narrowing it down as to if it is the user interface board or the machine and motor control board. We look forward to hearing from you.

Lid Lock light blinking, machine will not start
A detailed Service Technician Service Manual is hidden inside the machine on the front panel. It is hidden by the bleach dispenser input. It gives a list of fault codes and instructions for calibration after repair, resetting fault codes, and a manual test mode for stepping the machine through each mode on command. The Tachometer faile

Defective lid latch - Cabrio Washer
The instructions that came with the part were worthless. Essentially, unplug, put in new part, plug it back in. I spent a considerable amount of time on the internet and finally found a video showing how to open the top. Unlike other models, it is held down by clamps in the back rather than clips in the front. Once finding this inform
