Hello Dan, Thank you for your inquiry. This error usually indicates that the washer is not getting enough water. We would recommend checking the hot and cold water inlet valves and the water level pressure switch. You can test the parts with a multimeter. We hope this helps.

Getting a 5D error
For model number WFW5620HW0
Fix.com logo
Hello Dan, thank you for asking. As per the manufacturer, "There are too many suds in the washing machine. The washer will not be able to spin out water with the excess suds. When "5D or "Sd" is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the washer pauses the tumbling and adds water for additional rinsing. This pause allows the bubbles in the suds to break. This pause and rinsing are necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds. We hope this helps.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.

There were holes in our seal. Water was leaking during every wash.
We unplugged everything. Then we removed the screws from the back of the washer. Then we slid off the top of the washer. Next, we removed the bottom drawer of the washer. We then proceeded to remove all of the screws and took off the entire face of the washer until the bellow was completely exposed. We did have to detach the hose and door clamp. We removed two metal clamps that held the seal in place. Once those were off we removed the entire old seal, replaced it with the new one, clamped it down, and reversed the steps to put everything back together. It was fairly simple.
