Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.

I had bought the portable dishwasher from an add in the paper and unfortunately I was unaware that they require faucet adapters and it was not given to me along with the appliance.
I ordered the part and it fit perfectly!! About five minutes to screw it onto my faucet and problem solved!!!

Leaking drain hose
First I removed hose from drain, next I loosened the clamp at the drain hose connection at the washer. Removed hose. Have rags/towels as there is some residual water that will spill out of the washer. Reinstall in reverse.

there was a hole in the original drain hose
First, I read the previous repair stories, so I knew what step to do first. So, first I took the hose off of the drain, then I removed it from the washer. And as the previous repair story stated, some water came out and I had a towel ready to catch the water that was in the hose. I threaded the clamp onto the new hose, pushed the new hose onto the washer, used the pliers to open the clamp to better clamp the hose onto the washer. Then, placed the drain hose into the drain pipe and it was done! Thanks for such a great site!

Leaking Water
Tipped the washer over to find where the leak was coming from. After finding it was the hose between the tub and drain fitting on the back of the machine I stood the washer back up and removed the access hatch cover on the back of the machine. Two spring clamps held the hose on which I removed with channel lock pliers. Installation was a bit more difficult because the clamps like to slip off the pliers. They make special pliers for these type of clamps but I don't have a pair. I was able to easily get one clamp on but after wasting a few minutes with the other one I decided to just use an automotive type worm drive hose clamp for the upper clamp, rather than struggle with the original wire style clamp.

Both outside door handles turned very beige
Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you

The original faucet adapter for portal dishwasher kept misting water out the sides of the adapter most annoyingly.
So I decided to stick in some CLR to see if it would clean it up. Well it got considerably worse. So ordered the new faucet adapter, threaded adapter and the two washers, due to not knowing what i would need. It came like unbelievably fast considering it was Christmas time. Unscrewed the old one from the faucet, screwed on the new one. hooked up the dishwasher, watched it for a bit for any leaks at the connection, and it worked great! I seem to have more water pressure too coming from the sink faucet. Thank you so much for the quickness in sending out my order! -- Scott

broken rubber straps (4), tub shook too much
First opened lid up and took ring cover off tub. Then unscrew 4 back screws and lifted top up. I replaced all 4 straps, so this process is repeated 4 times: with rubber gloved hand, lift metal support stick up, remove white plastic safety lock, insert strap and replace safety plastic lock and metal support stick to original position. Then, after removing old strap from tup side, replace the new end. After all 4 all done, push back down ring in position over tub, and screw everything back. The hardest part was holding the metal stick up with the gloved hand (as it was oily and slippery), and using one hand to do the rest, Otherwise, a fast and easy job.

washing machine stuck on drain cycle
Siphon break kit keeps washing machine from continuing to siphon after rinse/cycle -- like emptying a pool with a hose. Fixed the problem of the tub never filling due to siphon draining out water as it's being put in.
