Riper gasket main, needed replaced.
After trying multiple times, multiple ways to stretch the gasket over the washer drum with no luck, I was able to get it installed but it took 2 more people. 4 hands to hold the gasket while the other person fits it around the drum. I noticed in the install videos they start the process then cut away, and magically the gasket is installed.

Front load clothes washer drum shaft seal and bearing failed causing extreme bearing noise
Looked up on YouTube repair procedures and found enough to point me in the right direction. I am experienced in auto and appliance repairs and felt this would be easy even without YT but it helped me prepare tool list as I live 2K miles away from the family. Though YT was not exact machine, it was close enough to get me started as it wasn't rocket science. Once the machine was disassembled and bearings/gasket removed, I found a local bearing supplier which matched parts and started re-assembly. Total machine work time was approximately 7 hours and it runs like new!

A couple of tricks found on YT was putting bearings in freezer prior to assembly for potentially "shrinking" to ease installation, red lock-tite, and using a "good" liquid wrench lubricant for removing the inner rusted bearing.

It's not rocket science and I saved repair technician cost or purchasing a new $1100 washer. My costs were $113, and joy of a successful fix! What did we have to lose!!

Water inlet valve assembly internal leak
Shut off the water to and unplugged the washing machine, Removed the water hoses and the top panel of the machine. Valve is located at the rear, top left, of the machine where the water lines connect to the washing machine. Disconnected the electrical connections, connectors are COLOR CODED, to the valve (4). Disconnected one hose clamp from the hose nearest to the left side and near the rear of the washer, disconnected the hose. Remove one screw located on the right of the valve assembly. Remove the valve assembly, disconnected the second hose from the valve assembly. Connected the hoses to the new valve assembly. Installed the valve assembly into the washer. Re-connected the electrical connectors. Remember the connectors are color coded. Connect water hoses, turn on water and check for leaks. Re-assemble washer. Plug washer in.
