Based on our research, we would recommend checking the following parts: pressure switch, part number FIX12723089, hot water valve, part number FIX12723092, and cold water valve, part number FIX12743644. If the issue still occurs, you may need to check the control board, part number FIX12743448. We hope this solves your problem!

E2 error code referring to for lock. I have replaced the door lock and main control board. Checked continuity of wires from board to lock. Confirmed locks and door switch have proper continuity and resistance. Confirmed power of blue and red wires from main board to door lock. But still throws for lock code when I hit start. After hitting start I hear a click-pause-click by the main board and then E2 error code comes up. The unit is just under 2 years old. Water pressure is tested and good along with clean valves and filter.
What else could it be? I'm at my wits end.

Hello Addison, thank you for contacting us. If you experience an E2 error code when trying to start up your GE washer, there’s a good chance it’s due to a faulty main control board. However, it can also be because your lid isn’t locked correctly. As you have already checked the locks and door switch, we recommend you replace the interface control board, part number FIX12743448, to fix this issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
