On a 3088869002 were does the little spring clip go (only sold with housing) Not the trigger spring

If you are referring to the spring that goes inside of the trimmer head, it fits into the center of the upper housing and then the string head fits into the spring. didn't keep running
removed outer cover, remove old gas lines from carburetor and gas tank. Unscrewed (2) screws holding carburetor. Making certain not to damage gasket under carburetor then installed carburetor using same gasket and screws that held it before. Tightened to snug fit. Installed new gas lines, and cover over carburetor.
