Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.

Both outside door handles turned very beige
Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discol oring refer handles. Thank you

transmission drive belt broken
Since the belt broke, I had to put the cogged belt on the large driven pulley first, after loosening the four motor mount screws, and sliding the motor as close to the driven belt as I could. After several tries, I positioned the belt successfully on the driven pulley, then slipped it over the pulley on the motor. I pulled the motor as fa r away from the driven pulley to put proper tension on the belt without being excessive. I snugged the four motor mount bolts, tested the compactor and after a successful run, tightened the bolts on the motor mount. I then replaced the latch assembly, two screws and it was done.
