Why is my drip tray rusting if it’s stainless steel?
For model number TOB-195
Hi Lisa,
Thank you for your question. It is possible for stainless steel to rust especially in areas of high humidity. It can be removed by using a baking soda paste or a cleaner that has oxalic acid. We hope this helps!

Why would the unit be smoking when toasting? Unit is squeaky clean inside and out including heating elements. Unit has seen limited use and never on anything greasy.
For model number TOB-195
Hi Mark, thank you for your inquiry. Smoking from a “squeaky clean” toaster oven with limited use is likely caused by manufacturing residues burning off or invisible food/cleaner residues on the heating elements. Wipe down the interior again with a damp cloth and a mild solution of vinegar and water to remove any lingering residue. Ensure you dry it thoroughly afterward. Glad to be of help!
