Hello Robert, thank you for reaching out. We are providing you with the instructions that will help you to replace the top heating element. 1- Remove the screws securing the outer cover of the oven. In addition, there are 5 screws on the inside of the housing on the side with the knobs. 2- Remove the screws holding the top element on the right side of the unit. Two small screws on the inside of the unit. 3- Remove heating element leads from the control board and remove the heating element from the unit. 4- Install top set assembly in unit. Install two inside screws to hold assembly in place on the right side of the unit. 5- Attached heating element leads to control board and attach the outer cover of the oven. We hope this helps!

I'm removing the top heating element and cant get the white blocks out of the side near the dials. They seem to be held in by tabs.

Hello David, Thank you for your inquiry. You can try pressing the tabs with a putty knife or flat blade screwdriver to release the blocks. We hope this helps.
