Can't elevate the saw blade; external crank works which turns shaft and gear on end of shaft; this gear aligns well with an oblique gear which also rotates well and is attached to the screw shaft; but the screw shaft does not rotate ; i can't see what the screw is attached to which i assume would elevate the blade; had this table saw for a good many years and it has been a good and dependable help.

Hi John, thank you for your question. Sounds like you have a build-up of sawdust causing this issue. You will have to get up in there and clean it out. Once cleaned out lubricate with a dry lube only. Good luck with your repair.
