i need the gear to lower and raise the blade

The spring clip broke
Simple as removing the screw holding the broken one and replacing it with the new one. The screwing it back in.

One note is that the new spring clip seemed to be very difficult to open and allow the push stick in. But this quickly loosened up and works great now.
