The router stopped working while in middle of routing a board. Not the power supply. The router does not have a reset that i can find. The switch is generally in the on position. The router is attached to a table. Not finding anything on line to trouble shoot the problem. Can you help.
For model number RE175

Hi Russ,
Thank you for your question. If your router shuts off after a few minutes of use, you will need to check the brushes and the switch to see if they are working correctly. If the router is shutting down too soon, there may be sawdust inside the router and it will need to be cleaned out. You should also give the switch and brushes a good cleaning also. If you need to replace a part, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!
