After cleaning runs at top speed for a few seconds then smokes and slows down.do I need a new armature? Thanks model number is actually 6902

Hi Thomas, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, you may have this issue because of a bad carbon brush. We would recommend replacing the carbon brush, part number FIX10116513, to fix the issue. Good luck with your repair!
