My freezer is freezing up. All the could are frosted over, then my Refrigerator temp drops. I have to defrost it every 2-3 days in the summer. My fav is working

Hi Susan, thank you for reaching out. We have researched the model and would suggest checking the temperature sensor, part number FIX11753994. A faulty sensor might be affecting the defrost cycle resulting in low temperatures in the refrigerator section. We hope this information helps!

Me refrigerator isn't working. First the freezer freezes everything up. So the coils down the back are frosted over, then, the refrigerator part stops cooling. I'm pretty sure it's not self defrosting. How can I fix it

Hello Susan, thank you for writing. For the initial freezing up and frosting over the issue can be Temperature sensor at evaporator in the freezer PS11753994. The issue of the fridge now not cooling at all is either the Capacitor PS11757023 or the Evaporator Fan PS11740359. We hope this helps.

t's give her a shot so I did give it a shot. I ordered the parts and they were there in less time than a service tech could come out and i installed the parts and guess what for 90.00 in parts and 15 minutes in time I repaired my refrigerator. Thanks guys, It took less time to order the parts than it did to make the repair so thanks, your website rocks and is very well designed so my hat is off to you guys!

The reason I repaired it myself was because the repairman that diagnosed the problem.didn't come back in two weeks. ed wires from fan motor. Removed the fan blade from fan motor,which was press fitted on,then removed fan motor from bracket assembly(make sure and retain the two vibration rubber washers on back and front of motor. Reinstall new motor with vibration washers and press fan blade on new motor. Install in bracket assemble and reassemnble.

Lights inside refrigerator not working
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
