Problem: Ice (cubes or crushed) will not dispense from door. Water dispenser functions properly.
It appears that the solenoid assembly is not functioning. Moter and auger spin freely with no ice. With ice, moter and auger start, but quickly seize.
My Diagnosis: I think the problem is either a micro switch or the solenoid assembly itself.
Questions: Does my diagnosis make sense? And which micro switch, if any, controls the solenoid?

Hi Jimmy, thank you for the question. Yes, the issue could be with these parts. The micro switch, part number FIX11738948, controls dispensing of ice or water when you press the dispenser lever. Before replacing the micro switch, we would suggest checking the ice dispenser solenoid, part number, FIX11738908. It shifts the ice container deflector to dispense crushed ice or cubed ice. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Front Door Ice Wouldn't Work And Air Going Into Freezer
