Our ice maker was overfilling the mold, and the bin had frozen shut. Using a hairdryer. I was able to take out and empty the bin, and chip out all the ice that had formed in the area below the bin. I turned the ice maker switch to off and replaced the bin. The next morning, I turned the icemaker back on. After 10-12 hours, it had not produced ice. All symptoms indicate a faulty water valve. The parts diagram shows 2 different water valves. A single line unit. and a double line unit. Which valve do I need to order; single or double? The water dispenser is working fine. Thank you.

Hello Randy, thank you for reaching out to Fix. According to our research, the single primary water inlet valve, part number FIX11750831, releases water from the supply line into the ice mold. We recommend you replace this part to fix the issue. We hope solves your problem!
Water dispenser is very slow and getting slower. Ice maker seems fine.

Hello Russell, thank you for contacting us. According to our understanding, we would recommend checking the dispenser water line for any clogging. If it is fine, then the issue is most probably with the dispenser actuator, part number FIX16745141. It attaches to the refrigerator dispenser housing and activates the dispenser. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. Glad to be of help!
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
First I removed the old lightbulb from the socket and replaced it with a new one to confirm that the bulb was not the problem. I then pryed the socket out with a flat-head screwdriver. I could tell that the socket was anchored in its hole with clips so it was relatively easy to pry it out. Once the socket was out, I disconnected the le

When the new one arrived, I reconnected the lead wires to it, snapped it back into its hole, screwed in a new lightbulb, and presto!! The light was back on with no further problem. Thank you, Partselect!! A $15.00 part saved me what probably would have been at least a $100. service call and heaven knows what the technician would have told me I needed!!!
I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.
