What is the OHMS range for the compressor overload relay? I read somewhere it should be between 0 and 1.0 ohms.
For model number WRF560SEHZ00
Hi Nolon, thank you for your inquiry. A healthy compressor overload relay should show near-zero or very low resistance (e.g., 0.1 to 0.3 Ohms) when testing for continuity with a multimeter, not a reading of 0.0 Ohms, which indicates an open or failed component. Readings significantly higher than this range, or an “OL” (open loop) reading while cool, suggest that the contacts inside the relay have burnt out and the component needs to be replaced. Glad to be of help!
I backed out the 2 top screws about a quarter inch and then removed bottem screw with a quater inch nut driver. The new Ice Maker was wired correctley for my refrigeator so all I had to do wea reconnect the

Thanks guys, It took less time to order the parts than it did to make the repair so thanks, your website rocks and is very well designed so my hat is off to you guys!
I am NOT a handyman, and my family laughed at me when I said I was going to fix the ice maker all by myself. I ordered a replacement ice maker. When it arrived, I opened the box and read the instructions. It seemed easy. I removed the old ice maker, with a socket set. I then took off the shut off lever from the old one and placed it
