Isthe part number w11566763 fitting suppose to be hollow/clear all the way through. Or does it have something inside of it?

Hello Roger, Thank you for contacting us. There are two little slots at the bottom of the light lens in the refrigerator section that you can release with a flat blade screwdriver and lift up and out on the lens to remove it. Then you can access the bulb, there are two in the refrigerator section and one in the freezer. The part number is FIX12349398 and it is a 120 Volt, 3.5 watt, 60 hz LED bulb. We hope this helps.
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
I was clening my uprght freezer and noticed that it was preped for an icemaker. I first went to the Whilpool website and could not find my part as my freezer was a 2008 model.

I orderd the kit on Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday. It took less than and hour to install. Every part I needed was included. The following day I installed the water line and now I have an extra icemaker.
