Humming noise but when i open the fridge it stops but i close it and the humming noise starts again
For model number RF20HFENBSR

Hello Diane, Thank you for your inquiry. If the refrigerator is only humming when you close the door, the most likely cause is the evaporation fan motor in the freezer, which stops when you open the door, but starts running again when you close it. You can test it with a multimeter, and also check for any obstructions to the fan blade. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
