My freezer keeps icing over and then my fridge gets warm. I took back panel off and don't see a defrost thermostat. What else could it be?

Hello Ashley, thank you for your question. There are some quick things to check for first. Check to see if the Vents Are Blocked within the fridge( too full). If the Condenser Coils Are Dirty you can clean it with a brush PS1817576. Check your Door Gaskets to ensure they do close snugly and are not leaking cold air. And finally the most common part can be the Evaporator Fan Motor PS11740362. The Temperature sensor is PS11753996. We do have an installation video for this one. We hope this helps.

Lights inside refrigerator not working
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.

Wanted to install ice maker in my freezer
I was clening my uprght freezer and noticed that it was preped for an icemaker. I first went to the Whilpool website and could not find my part as my freezer was a 2008 model.

I saw PartSelect on the search page and went to thier site.
I put in my modle number of the Whilpool Ice maker kit that was on the back of my freeze r. PartSelect had the part in stock and approx $18.00 less than the other kits listed on the Whilpool site (that did not match my kit number). I orderd the kit on Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday. It took less than and hour to install. Every part I needed was included. The following day I installed the water line and now I have an extra icemaker.
