Plug in refrigerator it starts runs for about 5to10 minutes then it shuts off and blinks 6 times.

Hi Scott, thank you for the question. It usually signals a compressor overload, high amperage draw, or current trip protecting the system from failing. Unplug the refrigerator completely from the wall outlet. Leave it unplugged for a full 10 to 15 minutes to allow the control board to drain its residual power and reset its error memory. Plug it back directly into the wall. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the compressor overload protector, part number 6750CL0001D. A bad overload protector fails to manage electrical current properly during a cycle. We hope this solves your problem!

Remove water inlet tube (loosen nut) and tube back to refrigerator (pull from water valve after remove cotter pin washer). 5. Detach two electrical wire harnesses. 6. Install new

Video makes it look easy. Kenmore refrigerator does not have "groove" along the right hand side of switch that allows for pushing down on release. Used a thin screwdriver to get under to push while holding switch edge with pliers. Kept slipping. Tape sides to avoid scratching inside of refrigerator.
