water leaking(pouring) from the filter into the refrigerator
Pushed the button on the filter in the fridge, the cartridge popped out and in with the new. That simple. Prior to replacement the water was leaking, although it was still producing water and ice through the door. When the filter was out, no leaks, but no water and ice! Just needed a new filter.

No water flow to in-door water/ice dispenser
Unscrewed the water line cover. Removed the platic case around the water filter base. Everything went well until I tried to remove the two water hoses. After I finally figured out that I had to push in the release washer while pulling the hoses out, things went well. Unfortunately it took several hours of wasted time and several searches on the internet to finally figure this part out. From there on out it went smoothly. Old base came out with two screws. Reversed process for reinstall of new base. Water hoses just slipped back into place and locked themselves in. Just takes a little patience.

Interior light was on "red" indicating a water filter change was needed.
Just pushed the button along side the filter and it popped out in my hand. I unpacked the new filter module and inserted it. It was necessary to run water through the dispenser for a couple of minutes to purge the air and clear the lines. The modular filter assembly is more expenseve than some but the ease of replacement makes the cost a good value.

Water leaking from water filter base.
Tried replacing water filter first. It stilled leaked, so I removed the covers to gain access to the water filter base. After cutting the two hoses to remove the old base, I simply slid the hoses into the new base, screwed it into place, replaced the covers, and then reinstalled the new water filter. No more leak!

Water filter needed replacement
Once I recieved the new filter, I enthusiastically opened the box, removed the filter from it's packaging and set it aside for quick access. I opened the refrigerator door, pushed the release button on the old filter and pulled it out. I then tossed the old filter in the trash.
Once that was done, I removed the 2 rubber caps covering the inlet and outlets on the new filter. Then, with ace precision, I guided the new filter back into the slot until it clicked. I ran the water for 3 minutes as the instructions suggested, then, had a glass of water.
Mission accomplished and it went off without a single hitch!

Water was leaking from the filter area when in-door water dispenser used
Silly me. It couldn't possibly be the filter because it's worked for the last 9 months with no problems. Decided to replace the water filter base first. Repair was easy. I saw someone had trouble removing tubes from old base and I gave it a couple of tries to no avail so decided to cut the lines instead. Made it even easier. After repair, water continued to leak. So, replaced the filter itself and voila - leak fixed. Make sure you check the filter first. My mistake turned a $40 - 10 second repair into a $100 - 20 minute repair. Good Luck!

Squealing noise and bottom half of freezer only froze
I removed the shelves, unscrewed the cover panel of the fan motor and regulator dial, disconnected the fan motor from power, unscrewed 2 screws holding the motor to the mounting bracket and put the new motor in it's place. New motor had no thread in the mounting holes, so I put new tread in so I could use the 2 screws. Another option would have been to drill all the way through the mounting holes and use longer screws or bolts. Of course I turned the power off before I started repairs. Freezer runs like new now. Technicians wanted $400 for the job, while it cost me a mere $55 for the Motor.
