Dorm Fridge shuts down shortly after every reset.
Removed two housing mounting screws; pulled it out a bit, removed the control from the housing and disconnected the wires. Pulled the sensor tube out of the channel under the freezer, and gradually worked the plastic protector off the sensor tube. Reversed the steps to reinstall it. A screwdriver with a magnetic tip is really helpful..
But the biggest challange was getting the freezer-door spring back in. Put the top tang of the spring in it's hole while putting the door on. Made a notch in the end of a thin/narrow piece of Aluminum; with the notch on the vertical part of the lower tang, pushed it over the lower hole and pushed it down into the hole with my little finger. Took 5 minutes to make the tool and 10 seconds to install the spring. I previously spent an hour trying to do it with a needle-nose pliers.
