Coil on evaporator fan motor open/burnt
Removed the freezer floor to expose freezer coil and evaporative fan motor. Removed fan motor bracket from back of freezer and pushed off the fan blade. The replacement fan motor 5301137820 was designed different than the bad motor which caused a problem in installing the mounting bracket and installing bracket to the back of the freezer. The front of the motor was designed so that the rubber supports mounting bracket had to be spread out in order to attach to the back part of the mounting bracket. The coil of the new motor coil was longer making it sit right on the bottom of the freezer pan with the spade connectors on the very bottom causing a problem to keep from shorting out on the freezer pan rather than the middle of the coil like the bad motor.
