Freezer started icing up. Gasket was torn in places letting air in.
The most difficult task for me was getting old gasket out. I did call for repair help. The service person was most helpful. After almost giving up, one more tug and the gasket started coming out. Next step was cleaning the area. Aligning the gasket correctly made installation easier. I realized right away that I needed to start in a corner. The gasket went in without a hitch. My freezer is like new again. Next installment will be the refrigerator.

Had frost in freezer of side by side. Did dollar bill test and determined that gasket was not sealed.
Consulted You Tube. Took off old gasket. Easy. Put on new one after getting it warm. The track on the new gasket did not sit properly. Took multiple attempts but finally worked. Size was perfect but the gasket color was different than original and therefore, different from the refrigerator door. No tools required.

During a recent move, they had to remove the doors, so they removed the top two door brackets.
The repair was quick and easy. Just install the ordered bracket ( hinge ) on the top refrigerator door and cover. I had all the screws and cover but somehow the original bracket was missing...hummm

Ice Maker not getting any water
1). Shut off water supply to fridge. 2). Move fridge out to gain access to back of fridge. 3). Remove poly line to water tube have a glass handy to catch any remaining water that might be in line. Some may have a foam insulating washer around water tube remove it first. 4). My Sears-Kenmore was a twist lock water tube have to turn it to left or right depending on brand to remove tube. 5). After removing make sure tube didn't just have water frozen in tube ( that was my problem ) run it under hot water frozen piece will come out. 5). Problem fixed, reverse directions to re-install tube!
