The water does not make it to the water dispenser. I pulled the tubing from the door and it is not going through the dispenser tubing. It collects in the bottom of the refrigerator compartment and in the condenser coil sump or drain pan. Any ideas. Thanks. Repsectfully

Hello Jeff, thank you for the question. The most common culprit is a cracked or failing water filter housing at the top rear of the fresh food compartment. The pressurized water line runs from the main inlet valve up through the filter housing. If the housing has a hairline crack or the internal check valve and O-rings inside have failed, water bypasses the outlet tube and sprays inside the housing cavity instead. It then leaks down behind the interior walls and pools at the bottom. Remove the filter and inspect the dual O-rings on the filter neck for damage or cracks. Make sure you're reinserting it firmly until you hear or feel it click completely into place. If the filter isn't fully locked in, water will leak out of the bypass port rather than routing through the door tube. We hope this is what you were looking for!
