Can't see how to get to the evaporator fan to remove and replace it
I assume its through the freezer but i can't figure out what and how to take things out to get to it

Hello Normund, Thank you for your inquiry. The evaporator fan cover is behind the back panel of the freezer section and there are several hex head screws you would need to remove to pull the cover off. You would also need to use a 3/8 inch socket to unthread the screws securing the front drawer panel to the drawer rails and then pull it off and set it aside. Lift out the top basket and release the retaining clips and you can slide out the basket frame. Next pull out the bottom drawer retaining clips and then lift out the drawer assembly, then use a Philips head screwdriver to unthread the screws securing the roller support bar and pull it out and set it aside. Unthread the screws securing one of drawer slide rail assemblies and pull it forward to detach it. You can now lift the air duct cover off and be able to access the evaporator cover. We have included a link to our video for a similar fan to give you a general idea of how to remove the evaporator cover and fan. Unscrewed the water line cover. Removed the platic case around the water filter base. Everything went well until I tried to remove the two water hoses. ... Read morehes on the internet to finally figure this part out. From there on out it went smoothly. Old base came out with two screws. Reversed process for reinstall of new base. Water hoses just slipped back into place and locked themselves in. Just takes a little patience.
