How to stop moisture form forming ice on the evaporator fan in the freezer. Is there an "icing kit" or idea fro a fix?
For model number EF48BDCBSS

Hello Manny, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, ice buildup occurs when warm or humid air comes in contact with the cold evaporator coils in your freezer. The coils will instantly freeze the moisture and, if there's enough of it, it will accumulate as ice. The best way to prevent ice buildup is to regularly clean your freezer and store food properly. Wait for hot food to cool, store it in freezer-safe containers or bags, and remove as much air as possible from your containers before closing the door. Keeping your freezer door closed as much as possible is another way to prevent warm air from hitting the coils and turning to frost. You may also clean the defrost drain and condenser coils regularly. We hope this information is useful!
