put the new element in the oven pushed wire onto connector on element held it up to match holes and put the screws back in, very easy to change. I really like the fast way I receive a part from you.

Unscrewed 2 screws holding terminal ends of the element in place. Eased the element out, until the two AC power wires were exposed. Pulled off the connectors from the element terminals (pretty tight fit - needed pliers to remove one of them).

Slipped the connectors onto the new element terminals, and eased the element back into the oven wall. Secured the element with the two screws removed previously, and that was pretty much all there was to it. Closed the circuit breakers, and the element tested OK.

Overall, a no-sweat job. One thing, though: I squeezed the oven connectors tight before pushing them back onto the new element. They had loosened up somewhat after pulling them off. A tight connection here seems pretty important, as arcing and corrosion could occur over time if they're too loose.

Before you touch anything unplug the range or trip the breaker. Pull the racks out of the oven, it gives more room to work. Remove the two screws that hold the element and pull the element out about 2-3". Disconnect the old element. Before you install the new element check the wire and the connectors for age and heat damage. If the connectors are loose replace them (2 connectors @ $1.97 is better than a short in the oven). If the insulation on the wire is degraded (brittle, flaking, brown) consider changing out the wiring. This means opening up the back of the oven and that is another chapter. In most cases you can just re-connect to the replacement element and attach it back to the oven with the two screws. I ran the oven to 400 degrees to just check that everything was OK. Spent a couple extra minutes to check everything out and save yourself pain later.

Removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires and then replaced the new heating element by connecting the wires and then placing the screws back in. Was a lil difficult because this unit has no oven light and it required a flash light.

Moved the Appliance out unplugged it and removed the backing plate then Remove the Knob and unscrew the infinite switch then marking the 5 wires to know where the go on the new switch, removing and replaced it with the new one

The display would just go blank sitting idle or when using oven, oven and timer would shut off and display go blank. Just pushing on display it would come back. So I replaced the front oven control assy. Not that difficult to replace. But new unit does same thing? Really confusing to me, I'm now waiting the relay control board to replace next along with heat sensor. Again removing wasn't to much trouble, of course Turn Power Off first. 4 screws to remove, kind of work it out away from relay board, remove connectors, plastic lock might break from brittleness, but it won't cause a problem. Remove mounting brackets and put on new assy, repl connectors, work back in to mount. When removing cover mark burner brackets as to FR, RR, FL,RL, the heat shield comes out, remove 4 screws, lower one side raise other and it comes out just fine. That's about it, I'll let you know how the relay board goes when I get it and if it fixed the problem.

The repair was simple; I removed just two screws, pulled out the wires, and slipped the two spade connectors off the original element. The repair was simply the reverse of the disassembly. The only thing to remember is to throw the circuit breaker before handling the electrical connectors. Other than that, it couldn't be any more straight forward.

First removed the old gasket using a needle-nose pliers. Then placed new gasket by inserting the little clips on the gasket. Took 5 minutes. Great instructions from Repair Forum.

Removed and replaced above named parts, rewired.Be sure to tighten all nuts that secure wires. I believe this is what caused the problem.

I removed 4 screws and then lifted up the top it gave me access to the element I followed the direction that came with the element (very clear to follow) removed and installed the new element and it worked fine. Remember to unplug the stove if it is electric this is not in the instructions.

attached new switch re-using same 2 screws from the front
one at a time attached the wires to their proper location
pushed knob back on
reset the breaker
tested the new switch - all was OK
switched off breaker again
replaced the back cover
slid range back in place

Turned off the power at the breaker box. Removed the two screws, pulled the element out about 3 inches, disconnected the two wires, reconnected the two wires to the new element, inserted element back into place, screwed in the screws...all finished...works great! Delivery was super fast...just a great experience all the way around.

Being a woman, I first cleaned the oven. Removed two screws holding the element in place. Pulled element out about 3 inches and disconnected one clip attached to a yellow wire another clip attached to a green wire. Put new element in connected clips. Replaced screws.

1. Turned off power to trouble shoot the counter top range elements. 2. Raised the counter top up to work on it and slid two evenly placed wooden slats under the bottom of the housfor stability so it would not fall backdown into the counter top cut-out. 3. With a 1/4" nut driver removed the 10 hex-head screw that were holding the black glass top in place, pulled off the 4 . Control knobs and carefully removed the glass cover and carefully seet it aside in a safe place. 5. A visual inspection of the non working element showed that it had a burn out spot causing it not to heat. 6. Got the model number of the appliance and checked the internet for parts suppliers, chose parts elect because they had the part in stock and could overnight it for reinstallation the next day, part did arrive the next morning. A visual inspection show that it was the correct part and it would be a like for like swap out. 7. Prior to replacing the element check to see that the electrical power was still off at the circuit breaker, made a quick sketch of the wiring and identified the wires so that they would be reterminated at the same points. 8. Using the needle nose pliers pulled off the 4 stake on terminations. 9. Lifted out the 6" from the body of the unit , removed the 4 phillips screws holding parts what were to be transfered onto the new element. 10. Transfered parts onto the new element, reinstalled the element into the body of the unit, reinstalled the 4-stake-on wires to there appropriate terminals and verified with previous wiring sketch. 11. Reinstalled the glass top, 10 screw holding it in place and the 4-control knobs. 12 . Turned main power to the unit back on and turned on the replaced element, it work correctly, also checked the other 3 elements to make sure that they were working correctly. 13. When the unit had cooled, removed the wooden slats and lowered the counter top back into its cut-out making sure not to damage the glasstop. Job complete.
