the old top was cracked and rusted
The new part arrived quickly and well-packaged. Removing the old top was easy enough, but needed to remove the legs (that hold it in an open position for cleaning) from the old top. The sheet metal screws holding one of them in place were rusted in place. Had to loosen with WD-40 and vice grips, but got them off without breaking or stripping the threads. They installed perfectly on the new top and the top slipped into place easily.

A mouse living in my stove!
One night I found a mouse living in my stove. We found it literally living underneath the top of the stove (the part where the burners are that you have to lift up). The insulation on the inside of the stove was literally covered with mouse poop, dog food, dog treats, and scraps of food among other things. It was totally nasty and I thought we would have to buy a new stove. However, I searched online and found replacement insulation on PartSelects website and ordered it. It was cheap and the fix was removing old insulation, vaccuming out and cleaning the stove then replacing the insulation with the new one. PartSelect had a great price and shipped promptly.

needed a new top-mine was so chipped.
I propped up the old one, the way you do to clean under the top, and removed the screw on either side of the prop up post. I slid off the top and then removed the vent so I could clean it and put it on the new top. I replaced the vent into the new one, put the props back in and then the screws. It may have gone faster for someone else-I am a woman of 68 years of age and struggled a little with it. All in all, it went very well.

Insulation was missing
Apparently, the original insulation had been removed due to a mouse infestation-the unit had been in storage for a while. After removing about 50 screws, I had all the body panels off and cleaned out the interior of the stove then installed the new insulation. I put it all back together and hooked it up- works just like new. I only paid 60 bucks for this oven, so all in all, not a bad deal.

One burner had broken
I put in the part and it went well, I have used other parts from your factory for the same stove so I knew it was going to go easy. The part only required one screw.

Front burner assembly broken
Easy as pie. I had the new part in my hands in less than 48 hours. Fortunately for me it was a simple fix and I was literally cooking in under 15 minutes. I was a little worried about doing anything to a gas stove, but by looking at the other unbroken side, it was just a matter of snapping together a new assembly. What a wonderful website!

Bottom Panel of over rusted out.
Unplug the stove from the wall socket. Remove the oven door as shown in the instructions for replacing the door. This makes the job a lot easier. At the rear of the bottom panel there is a screw at each corner. Remove these screws, a screwdriver will loosen them, then remove by hand. If you have a convection oven remove the fan cover as this prevents the bottom panel from coming out. There is a screw at the top and the bottom of the cover. You can then gently lift the bottom panel at the rear and work it out of the front lip. Install the new bottom panel in reverse order.

Foul ordor coming from stove
The foul order was the cause of a "Mummified Rat" that I found on the bottom Left /outside wall of the oven. I first Unplugged the stove and turned off the gas. I removed the grates and the burners. Each burner is held down with two (2) 3/16" screws which makes it a total of eight (8) screws in all. After removing all eight screws, you can now pop up the burner lid with a putty knife or a large Screw Driver. I used a large screw driver, After removing the "Lid" you will then see the "Insulation Blanket" draped over the oven, to remove this blanket there are two (2) copper wires securing the blanket in place, you'll have to cut these in order to install your New Blanket. Removing the "Blanket " is a "No Brainer" just be cautious and don't snag any of the "Igniter Wires" The "Insulation Blanket" goes on one way, this can be identified by the pre-cuts on the blanket. I started out on the left side of the stove, and had the right side of the "Blanket rolled up. As I tucked the "Blanket" under the "igniter Wires" and slowly and gently feeding it with my left hand till it lines up with the pre-cut and drapes itself into place as you maneuver it down with your hands Now start with the right side by unrolling the "Blanket" and following the same procedure making sure the "Insulation Blanket" is fully extended on both sides of the oven.
