I am having an issue with my range after trying to self clean. After self cleaning is pressed and time is selected, the process starts for a few seconds and then stops while the door remains locked. I cut power to the range and restored it in order to force a reset but it makes no difference. After that i tried to get the oven to operate under regular temperatures but it won’t do that either. The door lock seems to be cycling on and off in some sort of a loop. Is this a circuit board issue or could it be something else?
For model number JS630DF4BB
Hello Jack, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the self-clean mode uses very high temperatures to clean the oven interior. The oven door will lock when using this feature. The oven will turn off automatically when the self-clean cycle is complete. The door will stay locked until the oven has cooled down. If the issue still occurs, we would recommend checking the control board, part number PS12342250. We hope this solves your issue!

I installed the new sensor, tightened the two screws holding it in and connected the lead. Then reinstalled the oven into the wal

... Read morenscrew the terminal connections remove two mounting screws that held the terminal on to the oven body. This was a little trickier than it should have been because the melted plastic had reformed making it very hard to access the mounting screws. i then mounted the new piece and plugged the oven in, it took 15 minutes and was very easy. definitely saved me at-least a $100 for the service call i would have made if finding the part wasn't so convenient
The repair went very easy. The replacement part was designed differently than the original part. It installed on the rear of the drawer with a screw as the original snapped into the side. This was a bit confusing when researching and looking up the part online.
