Closer on upper oven broken off
With the parts we received from Parts Select I took the frame off the upper oven (about 8 screws), screwed in the new striker parts and closer, replaced the frame and tried the oven door. It closed beautifully, the repair was totally successful. Thanks for the parts and the quick delivery. At the local GE store they didn't think they c ould order the parts and if they could, it would cost about $75.00. The Parts Select parts cost about $25.00 and the repair was done in less than 1/2 hour! Thanks!!

timer knobs missing
Just pushed the new timer knobs onto the stem. They fit and now I can set the oven timer without having to use a pair of pliers to grip the stem and turn it.

Two of the knobs fit perfectly.

The stem for the the clock was broken off and there was not enough of the stem left for the new knob to fit.

broken nylon retention pin in upper oven door
Removed 3 lower screws holding the upper oven inside door panel to the door frame. There is enough flexibility in the panel to coax it away from the frame at least an inch. Removed the old nut plate from inside the door and replaced it with the new one. Screwed in the retention pin and 2 washers while holding the nut in place. Assembled t he 3 lower screws to complete the assembly.
