Burner was "shot"
After removing the 2 screws, pulling the element out, & disconnecting the 2 wires, I started installing the new element. 20 years ago, this may have been easy, but...after so many years of use, and grease fumes and who knows what, the new connections were difficult to connect. very old surface heating "burner" stopped working
detached old three wires and reattached new. I was amazed that we could find the part!
