burned out element
I pulled out the burned out element and replaced it with the new one. I was very thankful that elements are still made for vintage pink wall ovens!!!

The 1960 bottom heating element lost its gas, so need a new one.
Could not believe how easy stuff was made back in 1960! No wires...just plug it in. Turned off the electric to the wall oven, lowered the door flat against the cabinet, pulled on the old element straight out, then inserted new element same way and turned the electric back on. Heats up to 350 in less than 4 minutes.
