Membrane switch to lights went out or flickered
We were told by the appliance salesman that this part was discontinued and we needed to replace the entire hood...$1500. Parts Select had the part, using a Samsung number, for $331. It took my wife and me about 45 minutes to install the switch panel. That included cleaning the whole hood and lights. We are very happy with the results. I have lights to cook again!!

Two striped out screw heads
Purchased a screw extractor set from the local Ace Hardware (SpeedOut). Be sure and carefully follow the screw extractor instructions as written (counterclockwise turn). Removed old screws and replaced them with new screws supplied by PartSelect.
