The burner was not heating up
I removed only 3 screws that allowed me to lift the glass top on the stove. I removed the burner and I could see where it short circuited. I ordered the new burner element. After it arrived I replaced it by moving the wires from the old element to the new element, and put it back together.
I am sure that I saved at least $200 in "labor".

trim was cracked and scortched
This was very easy to install. I removed the screws that held the trim in and took it off and put the new one on and screwed it on. Within 5 minutes it was complete. I just wanted to say that my wife was very discouraged because she couldnt get the discoloration off the trim. So she went on the internet and found partsselect.com. I gave here the model number and from there it was easy to find the part and order it. Within 5 days we had the part delivered and installed. Thank you because it was so easy.

I would definitely order in the future. Thank you.

Had to replace a rubber whee that was part of one of the drawer slides.
I was surprised when I was able to find that the (10 year old) parts for one of the drawer slides of my stove were still available. However, I was disappointed that the small bolt that I ordered did not come with a nut. I was lucky to find one in a collection of nuts in my workshop, and so was able to fix the slide. However, I suggest that if you supply someone with a bolt, that you include the nut that is necessary to make it work.

oven latched locked after self clean
First I had a repairman come out. He stated it was the latch that went bad. After 2 weeks I found out it was not covered by the home warranty and he still has not got the part. He told me it would take 2 hours to replace and cost me 200 dollars. I ordered the part and had it here the next day. I found out it was a lot cheaper to do it myself.

The Right Front Element (Largest) Was Not Working
Remove three screws underneath bottom front edge of the range top. Bewteen the oven door and the range top. Lift rnage top up in frotn and prop up. Remove two screws o the element and replace. Found out the problems was not the element but the control switch. The heating element for the bimetalic control was brokened and not making contact. Element was ok. Would advise inspecting and using a dvm to check resistance of the element before purchasiing. By the way I swapped the control switch from another element and found out that they are claibrated to the sixe of the element. You have to purchase the right control switch or the element will not heat correctly.
