To replace a filter, on my range, i just pull down on the old ,and push up tp place the new one in. the were no screws ,to take out. Really old filthy filter
Popped out the old one and inserted the new one. Very quick and easy, less than 1 minute. I was very impressed with the delivery of my new filter from PartSelect. It arrived the very next day...that was simply amazing to me.

I destroyed previous one scrubbing too hard
I stood on a kitchen step ladder, pulled old one out with an upward and outward pull. Held new one on the sides, seated the bottom first, then snapped the new one into the top clip.
