Pump lost pressure
For model number DXPW4035
Hello Dennis, Thank you for the question. The common reasons for a pressure washer pump having building pressure is that it is not getting enough water. This can be caused by a hose problem, leakage, or blockage. Another reason can be air can get trapped inside the pressure washer pump or a problem with the nozzle. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

The pressure washer runs really good and it will spray, but it won't spray strong. I was told I might've left it running without water running through it too long.

Hello Mark, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the pressure seals likely melted or warped from overheating when the pump ran dry without water coolant and lubricant. Damaged seals prevent the pump from building or maintaining the necessary pressure for a strong spray. We suggest replacing the pressure seal kit, part number FIX16678864, to resolve the issue. We hope this helps.
I was getting a leak where the coupler connects to the pressure washing hose. I removed the coupler and lost the spring and whatever tiny other piece was connected to it. I still do not know if the coupler was the issue or perhaps there needs to be a washer in there. If so there is not one now. Any help would be appreciated. If the coupler comes with the spring I will need that for sure.
