Motor making odd sounds as it stops after being turned on. I just had a 2x4 grab blade and break lower blade guard (new guard on order). What else could be damaged? The saw runs, cuts, and brakes ok (albeit w/o lower guard). Thank you for your help. Mark

Hello Mark, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking your motor brushes, the bearings, and checking the fan blade on the armature to make sure it is turning freely and not obstructed.
